Job description, Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The candidate will be driving Sales and business opportunities in the form of Government bids and tenders through Physical bid, Online bid (through E-Procurement websites like CPP Portal, GEM Portal etc.) and through empanelment like NICSI.
  • Must have experience in Sales to Central Government, State Governments, Autonomous bodies.
  • Should be well versed with Tender (NIT / RFP / RFQ / EOI etc.) and Online tendering system / E-Procurement websites such as CPP Portal and Gem Portal.
  • Candidate should have hands-on experience and knowledge of / about tender stages, Government Departments, Government Rules / GFR, and Government Procurement process etc.
  • Should be able to understand at first level the requirement and scope and business need of Client and translate it for Internal Team for bidding and effort and cost estimation purpose.
  • Will have to organize, arrange, attend, conduct Sales level F2F meeting with the clients within Delhi / NCR and other States / UT.
  • Organize, arrange, attend, conduct and support F2F meetings of other internal stakeholders with client as and when required.
  • Can attend pre-bid meetings and support in / prepare pre-bid queries.
  • Coordinate internally with various stakeholders such as bid team and technical to get the bidding done, cost estimation prepared and presentation in stipulated time limits.
  • Coordinate with the respective officials and document the progress of the bid.
  • Handling of customer enquiries floated under the E-Procurement website (such as CPP Portal, GEM portal etc.) and Offline mode.
  • Candidate must be able to counter & solve basic first level queries of clients.
  • Keeping lists of the Government agencies or personnel representing the person, agency, or organization.
  • Work with other staff members to develop a greater understanding of the business and any issues that arise.
  • Discuss with the management team / reporting manager to decide upon the opportunities.
  • Handle MIS reporting documentation on daily basis.

Required Candidate Profile:

A candidate should have prior minimum 5 years experience of working in the Government sales profile and should be capable of performing jobs listed in Job description, Roles and Responsibilities section above.

  • Good communication skill (Hindi and English).
  • Good presentation skill.
  • Hands-on experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Hands-on experience in working on Tender specification.
  • Only Delhi NCR based candidates or willing to relocate to Delhi NCR.
  • Comfortable with extensive travelling.
